DW3: Faded Memories Journal with Dawn

Faded Memory Lane Journal Class
Join us for a full-project workshop where you will build an interactive,
vintage-inspired journal using the Faded Memory Lane Journal Collection
by 49 & Market. We will build a unique three-signature journal. You will
learn the mechanics of nesting two complete booklets on the inside cover
in pockets, alongside a third stand alone companion volume, and we will
stitch our booklets together using a 3-hole binding method.

We will style the pages using the included die-cut pieces, ephemera,
pocket elements, and also lace, trims and other found objects included in
a separate bonus kit curated just for you. We will explore different mixed-
media techniques using inks and sprays, layering and style tips to help it
all come together. This project is a mix of soft, muted tones and beautiful
creative touches.

Hello friend, my name is Dawn Winslow and I am a mixed-media artist who
deeply enjoys teaching this beautiful process to others. This class will be

Inks for edging and splatters (suggestions: Tim Holtz Distress Line or 49 &
