Vintage Christmas Cards

Get a head start on your holiday crafting with this fun, technique-filled class inspired by the
vintage style of Tim Holtz! During class, you will create three unique Christmas cards while
learning a variety of techniques that can be used on countless future projects.

Techniques will include:
- Vintage ink blending
- Stamp and Smudge stamping technique
- Masking
- Watercolor Pencil Coloring
- Layering vintage collage elements
- Stenciling with Distress Inks
- Creating aged paper and distressed edges

We will be using beautiful vintage Christmas imagery, including Santa, holiday ephemera, sheet
music, and nostalgic backgrounds to create timeless cards perfect for sending or displaying
throughout the holiday season.

Students will leave with:
* Three completed vintage Christmas cards
* New stamping and distressing techniques
* Tips for combining inks, stamps, and stencils to create authentic vintage effects
* The confidence to recreate these techniques on future projects

Student Supplies recommended to bring:
? Liquid adhesive
? Dry Adhesive (tape runner, skor-tape, etc.)
? Foam tape
? Watercolor blending brush
? Stamping Platform
